~1.5 years, still happy, great service and support I have been using Virtarix for a year and a half, and have a Linux VPS with a dedicated IPv4 address. I run several public services and websites from it and use it as a sandbox and testing ground for various projects.
I have had zero issues with Virtarix, and when I have had some questions, including setting up an rDNS record and getting support with MX/MTA problems, their support staff have been extremely quick, helpful and knowledgeable, and are not AI, the responses I have had have been from real people!
I can highly recommend (and have recommended to colleagues) to get a VPS from Virtarix.
If someone is interested, the VPS gives you full root access and you can choose from different linux distros. I have setup docker containers for different servers, IRC bouncers, matrix + livekit, and nginx reverse proxy for the various sites I have running and it's been great.
Like any publicly facing server, you should expect constant attempts from attackers to get in, but the management page does provide a GUI based firewall setup tool, or you can manage it yourself from the VPS. 10/10, this is by far the best VPS service I have used so far.
Oh and the best part? They aren't just reselling AWS or another cloud service, so the EU data centers are located outside they prying eyes of the the US Cloud Act.
